Demand Generation Manager
A bit of background on Rotageek
Rotageek is a workforce management platform that helps businesses schedule, manage and optimise their teams. We work with major retail, hospitality and leisure brands to solve complex scheduling challenges at scale. As we grow our presence in the market, we're looking for a Demand Generation Manager to build and scale the pipeline engine that fuels our sales team.
Why this role is so important
We’re looking for a hands-on Demand Generation Manager to own the strategy, execution and performance of campaigns that generate qualified pipeline for Rotageek.
You’ll sit at the intersection of Marketing and Sales, turning targeted audiences into engaged prospects and engaged prospects into sales-ready opportunities. You’ll help build a multi-channel demand generation engine across paid, organic and owned channels, then iterate on it relentlessly based on data.
This is a role for someone who enjoys both setting the strategy and getting into the detail of campaign execution. You’ll help shape how Rotageek reaches key verticals and named accounts, improve lead quality, strengthen Marketing and Sales alignment, and make a measurable contribution to pipeline and revenue.
Key duties and responsibilities
Let’s be clear from the start: this isn’t just a campaign coordination role. You’ll own the demand generation engine from strategy through to reporting, making sure every campaign has a clear audience, purpose, measurement approach and commercial outcome. You are the pipeline builder, the campaign operator and the person turning insight into action.
Owning demand generation strategy: Defining and executing the demand generation strategy across paid, organic and owned channels, including paid social, paid search, email, webinars, ABM, content syndication and other relevant activity.
Building always-on campaigns: Creating and managing always-on and campaign-specific programmes that generate MQLs and SQLs in line with pipeline targets.
Aligning with sales: Partnering closely with Sales to agree lead definitions, handoff processes and feedback loops that continuously improve lead quality and conversion.
Managing marketing automation: Working with Growth Marketing to manage and optimise marketing automation, lead scoring and lifecycle processes.
Running ABM programmes: Developing and testing account-based marketing programmes focused on key verticals and named accounts.
Reporting on pipeline: Owning campaign reporting and pipeline attribution, providing regular performance updates and clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Optimising investment: Reviewing pipeline and ROI performance to improve budget allocation across channels and maximise commercial return.
Creating conversion-focused content: Collaborating with Content Marketing to develop landing pages, gated content, email sequences, ads and other assets that convert.
Testing and learning: Staying close to demand generation best practice, emerging channels and new tools, while bringing fresh ideas and experiments to the team.
Improving the funnel: Using performance insight to identify friction across the journey from audience engagement to qualified opportunity, then testing ways to improve conversion.
Key competencies and behaviours
You’re commercially minded: You understand pipeline, revenue-focused marketing and the connection between campaign activity and business growth.
You’re analytical: You’re comfortable owning funnel metrics, campaign reporting and pipeline attribution, and using data to make decisions.
You’re a hands-on campaign builder: You can move from strategy into execution, managing the detail required to launch, monitor and optimise campaigns.
You know demand generation: You have experience across paid media, email, webinars, ABM, content syndication and other channels that create qualified opportunities.
You’re confident with systems: You have hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot or Pardot and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
You communicate clearly: You can write compelling copy, brief creative and content effectively, and present strategy and results to senior stakeholders.
You collaborate naturally: You enjoy working closely with Sales and understand how strong alignment improves lead quality, handoff and conversion.
You test and learn: You iterate quickly, course-correct based on results and keep looking for ways to make the pipeline engine stronger.
